If a job did not go the way it should have, we would rather hear it publicly and fix it than quietly lose the customer.

A tricky diagnosis that did not become a replacement

Whitney Edwards expected to be told she needed a new system when her HVAC stopped responding to the thermostat entirely. It turned out to be a repair.

“When our HVAC system completely stopped responding to the thermostat, I was convinced we were looking at an expensive replacement. Garrett came out the very next day, arrived right on time, and even kept us updated with a courtesy call when he was about 10 minutes away… What turned out to be a tricky issue didn’t phase him at all, he methodically diagnosed the problem, found the solution, and had everything working again much faster than I expected… Garrett saved us from a lot of stress, worry, and potentially unnecessary expense.”

Seven companies called, five bids, one that mentioned rebates

John Felts replaced a thirty year old AC and furnace and did the homework most people skip. He also noticed something that comes up often: most contractors never raise the local utility rebate programs.

“I’m a tough customer. When we needed to replace our 30 year old AC and Furnace I called 7 companies. 5 companies came out and bid on a replacement. American Energy won the bid process hands down. They were also the only company to suggest the local Utility Rebates. Once they were awarded the bid they had a team out within 36 hours to do the install which only took half a day. Now we are sitting in comfort in our nice cold house.”

Capacitor found and repaired on the first visit

Cindy Johnson called about a condenser that had stopped cooling. The failure was isolated to the run capacitor and repaired on the spot.

“Craig from American Energy came out and quickly diagnosed and repaired our AC condenser. He explained that the capacitor had failed and repaired it in a timely manner at a reasonable price. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The person scheduling the appointment was also very nice.”

Burst water heater replaced the same day

New heat pump, clean job site
